Pay: US$3.00 per hour
Location: Remote — Philippines
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. U.S. Eastern Time (EST/EDT)

About the Role

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented remote team member to support patient intake and insurance verification for a U.S. outpatient physical therapy practice. You will verify insurance coverage, and ensure patient information is complete and accurately entered into our system.

This position requires working U.S. daytime hours, which are overnight in the Philippines. Availability for the entire scheduled shift is essential.

Responsibilities

• Complete new-patient intake, including collecting and confirming demographic information, insurance details, referrals, and required paperwork.
• Verify insurance eligibility and physical therapy benefits through insurance portals and phone calls.
• Document deductibles, copays, coinsurance, visit limits, and referral or authorization requirements.
• Communicate with insurance companies, and clinic staff to obtain missing information and resolve intake or verification questions.
• Maintain accurate patient records, track outstanding intake items, and handle patient information confidentially.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Previous experience in U.S. healthcare intake, insurance verification, or medical administration is preferred but not required. Outpatient physical therapy experience is a plus.
• Strong spoken and written English, with a professional and courteous phone manner.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and follow-through.
• Ability to work independently and consistently attend scheduled shifts.
• Must have your own computer, reliable internet, and a quiet workspace suitable for patient and insurance calls.
