My client
My client is a growing business with big ambitions, strong knowledge and credibility in their field of expertise – Traffic Management.
They pride themselves on being professional, responsive and adaptable, while continually looking for better ways of doing things. Their projects span across construction, infrastructure and events.
The role
We’re seeking an experienced individual for this high-volume role - scheduling people, vehicles, plant and equipment. Priorities can change quickly, so you will need to stay calm, think ahead and make practical decisions without losing sight of the detail or the commercial impact.
This is a key role connecting customers, planning, field teams, suppliers and finance – where you are the hub that keeps things together.
High level responsibilities include:
- Own customer bookings from confirmation through to successful field delivery
- Scheduling of all staff, vehicles, plant, and equipment required per job
- Identify scope gaps, variations and chargeable resources
- Manage timesheets, charge sheets, operational paperwork and information for invoicing
About You
You have experience in a busy scheduling/rostering role where you have had to juggle high volumes of people, resources and customers while managing changing priorities.
Your industry experience could span civil construction, infrastructure, logistics or similar people-heavy operational environments. Traffic management experience would be useful, but it is not essential - you can be taught the industry knowledge.
You bring:
- Experience in operations coordination, scheduling, dispatching, or resource planning
- A highly organised, proactive approach
- Calmness under pressure and ownership of your work without letting details slip
- Confident communication skills
- Strong systems skills
What's in it for you
- Salary around $80,000 - $90,000, depending on experience
- The opportunity to grow with a business that is continuing to scale
- Varied work, real responsibility and plenty of contact across the operation
