Scheduling Manager

Howard's Electric LLC is looking for a Scheduling Manager who can keep service calls, installation projects, technicians, and customer commitments organized.

In an electrical service business, a schedule is constantly changing. Emergencies come up, jobs take longer than expected, customers need updates, and technicians need clear information before they arrive.

We're looking for someone who can manage those moving pieces, communicate clearly, and help the team stay productive.

What you'll be responsible for

• Manage daily and weekly schedules for service calls, installations, and field teams
• Coordinate technician assignments based on availability, skills, location, and workload
• Communicate appointment details and updates with customers
• Monitor active jobs and adjust schedules when priorities change
• Coordinate with technicians and leadership to resolve scheduling conflicts
• Track open service requests and ensure follow-up occurs
• Help plan upcoming workload and resource needs
• Maintain accurate scheduling and customer information
• Communicate changes quickly to customers and internal teams
• Identify scheduling issues and help improve workflow efficiency
• Support a smooth handoff between office staff, technicians, and customers

What we're looking for

• Experience in scheduling, dispatch, field services, construction coordination, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, or a similar environment
• Strong organization and attention to detail
• Comfortable managing multiple appointments and changing priorities
• Clear and professional communication skills
• Able to make quick, practical decisions when schedules change
• Strong follow-through and reliability
• Comfortable using scheduling, dispatch, CRM, or business software
• Electrical industry experience is helpful, but not required

You don't have to come from an electrical company.

Someone who has scheduled HVAC technicians, plumbers, construction crews, delivery teams, healthcare appointments, or other field-service operations may already have many of the skills needed for this role.

We're looking for someone who can see the whole schedule, anticipate problems before they happen, and keep customers and technicians moving in the right direction.

Pay: $65,000.00 - $72,000.00 per year
