School Accountant

We are seeking a responsible, detail-oriented, and experienced Accountant to manage the school’s financial records and day-to-day accounting operations. The candidate will be responsible for maintaining accurate accounts, handling fee records, preparing financial reports, and ensuring timely and proper financial documentation.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records of all school financial transactions.
• Manage student fee collection, receipts, refunds, and outstanding fee records.
• Maintain cash book, ledger, journal, and other accounting records.
• Prepare and maintain monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle payments, invoices, bills, vouchers, and expense records.
• Reconcile bank statements and maintain proper banking records.
• Monitor school income and expenditure and assist with budget preparation.
• Process salary and payroll-related records as assigned.
• Maintain records of statutory payments, taxes, and other financial requirements.
• Coordinate with auditors and provide required financial documents.
• Ensure proper filing and safe maintenance of financial records.
• Prepare reports for the Principal and School Management.
• Monitor outstanding payments and follow up with relevant departments/parents where required.
• Use accounting software and MS Excel for financial data management.
• Maintain confidentiality of financial and personal information.
• Support management in financial planning and cost control.

Pay: ₹25,000.00 - ₹35,000.00 per month
