School Based Behavior Technician

Join our dynamic educational team as one of our School-Based Behavior Technicians while receiving paid training/support to become a Registered Behavior Technician! In this vital role, you will provide specialized support in a role working directly with students with disabilities while also providing support, coaching, and oversight to other special education paraprofessionals. Your expertise will help create an inclusive classroom environment that fosters growth, independence, and confidence. This paid position offers a rewarding opportunity to further your ABA skills while applying them in a vibrant school setting dedicated to personalized education and student success. Full-time BCBA supervision and BCBA test preparation provided!

Responsibilities

• Support a student with autism, conduct disorder, and developmental disabilities through behavior management strategies and positive reinforcement techniques
• Provide hands-on care for the student, including supervision during playtime, meal times, and rest periods
• Maintain detailed documentation of student progress, behavior incidents, and IEP goals to ensure compliance and facilitate ongoing assessments and behavioral/academic growth

Qualifications

• RBT's, RBT's in training, Behavior Technicians, Special Education Paraprofessionals
• Certified RBT's may be eligible for rates above 29.50
• Prior experience working with children in K-8 classroom settings.
• Experience in ABA classrooms/settings
• Knowledge of special education practices
• Proficiency in classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies
• Commitment to fostering an inclusive environment that supports diverse learning styles

Pay: $24.00 - $29.50 per hour
