School-Based Speech Language Pathologist Assistant - Lake Elsinore, CA

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology, Speech Communications, or related field, or an AAS degree from an SLPA program
• Active SLPA license/certification
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills, including the ability to support students and families during challenging situations
• Willingness to travel between multiple school sites during the school day if required
• Capacity to work exclusively onsite

Responsibilities

• Provide both direct and indirect speech and language services according to students’ IEP goals
• Work under the supervision and guidance of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist
• Communicate and collaborate with school staff, students, and parents to support student progress
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation
• Participate in ongoing training and professional development
