School Bus Driver

Qualifications: A valid Illinois CDL driver's license

Job Description: As a school bus driver, you are responsible for bringing children to and from school, ensuring timely pick-up and safe drop-off in the process. Drivers may also provide transportation for other events, including field trips and sporting events during and outside of school hours. While you are on the road, you are responsible for maintaining a safe environment for everyone inside the bus.

• Adhere to an assigned schedule
• Arrive at pick-up and drop-off points in a timely manner
• Ensure the safety of all bus passengers
• Complete maintenance records and incident reports
• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness inside the bus
• Conduct daily inspections of the vehicle prior to operation
• Recognize and report any required bus maintenance
• Attend transportation meetings and other meetings as appropriate.
• Support and enforce policies as established by the school district.
• Performs other tasks and assumes other responsibilities as appropriate as assigned by the Transportation Supervisor.

Pay: From $24.65 per hour
