Summary

We are seeking skilled School Bus Drivers to join our team at AM2PM Childcare Learning Center in Hazlet, NJ. In this vital role, you will ensure the safe transportation of our children while contributing to their overall development and happiness. Your commitment to safety and care will help us maintain our welcoming atmosphere.
Responsibilities

• Safely operate the bus to transport children to and from the childcare center.
• Ensure compliance with all traffic laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular vehicle inspections and report any maintenance issues.
• Assist children in boarding and exiting the bus safely.
• Maintain a clean and organized bus environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents and staff regarding transportation schedules.
• Support the educational mission of AM2PM by fostering a positive atmosphere during transit.
• Participate in training sessions related to child safety and behavior management.
• Qualifications
• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL A, B OR C) with a passenger and school bus endorsement (P+S).
• Proven experience in school bus driving, especially with children.
• Strong communication skills for interacting with children, parents, and staff.
• Experience working with children in a childcare or educational setting is preferred.
• Ability to manage behavior effectively while ensuring safety during transport.
• Knowledge of basic vehicle maintenance is a plus.

Pay: $25.00 - $30.00 per hour
