School Cleaner (part-time)

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Cleaners to join our team in Crewe(CW1 area). The ideal candidates will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in various commercial settings. This role is essential in ensuring that our facilities are welcoming and safe for all visitors and staff. A strong attention to detail and a commitment to high standards of cleanliness are crucial for success in this position.

Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Clean and sanitise restrooms, kitchens, and common areas to ensure a hygienic environment.
• Empty bins and dispose of waste appropriately.
• Maintain cleaning supplies inventory and report any shortages or needs.
• Follow established cleaning protocols and safety procedures.
• Address any specific cleaning requests from management or clients promptly.
• Ensure all areas are left tidy and presentable at the end of each shift.

Experience

• Previous experience in School cleaning is required
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Strong organisational skills with an eye for detail.
• Good time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within designated timeframes.
• A proactive attitude towards maintaining cleanliness standards.

The hours of work are Monday to Friday 3.15pm - 5.45pm - 2.5 hours per day - 12.5 hours per week, working 43 weeks so 39 weeks term time plus 4 weeks deep clean during the school holidays, also no annual leave whilst school is open and must take around the deep cleans in the holiday. As this is only a 43 working week site you will be paid pro rata.

Pay date: 5th working day of the month

Job Types: Part-time, Permanent

Pay: £12.71 per hour

Expected hours: 12.5 per week
