School Cleaner / Site Cleaner Required – Ashbourne, DE6 1PG

Monday to Friday | 12 Hours Per Week | Term Time Only

We are looking for a reliable and hardworking cleaner to join our team at a school in Ashbourne, DE6 1PG.

You will be responsible for keeping the school clean and well maintained, completing the daily cleaning duties to a high standard.

How the Role Works

You will work 2 hours 24 minutes per day, Monday to Friday, giving a total of 12 hours per week.

You have flexibility over when you complete your cleaning visit each day. The clean can be completed either:

• Morning – finishing by 8:30am, or
• Afternoon – starting from 3:30pm onwards

This is one cleaning visit per day, Monday to Friday.

The exact start time can be agreed with the successful applicant, provided the full 2 hours 24 minutes is completed each day within the available time window.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain a high standard of cleanliness throughout the school
• Complete daily cleaning tasks across designated areas
• Use cleaning equipment, including floor machines where required
• Ensure the site is left clean, tidy and presentable
• Report any maintenance or site issues to management
• Follow cleaning procedures and health & safety requirements
• Follow COSHH procedures and use cleaning products safely

What We're Looking For

• Previous cleaning experience essential
• Reliable and punctual
• Able to commit to Monday–Friday cleaning
• Comfortable working independently
• Experience using floor machines is desirable
• Good understanding of cleaning standards and COSHH is desirable
• Able to provide at least one previous employer reference
• Must be able to reliably travel to Ashbourne, DE6 1PG (own transport advantageous)
