Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented School Cleaning Supervisor to lead our cleaning team within educational settings. This paid position offers an exciting opportunity to oversee daily cleaning operations, ensure high standards of hygiene, and maintain a safe and welcoming environment for students and staff alike. Your leadership will be vital in coordinating cleaning activities, training staff, and ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily cleaning tasks within the school premises to ensure cleanliness standards are met consistently
• Lead, motivate, and support a team of cleaning staff to deliver efficient commercial cleaning services
• Conduct regular inspections of the facilities to monitor cleanliness, safety, and compliance with hygiene protocols
• Schedule shifts, assign duties, and manage workload distribution among team members
• Ensure all cleaning equipment and supplies are used properly and maintained regularly
• Train new staff on cleaning procedures, health & safety policies, and proper use of equipment
• Maintain detailed records of work performed and inventory levels

Skills

• Proven experience in commercial cleaning or janitorial roles with a strong understanding of cleaning procedures
• Previous supervisory or team leader experience in a cleaning or facilities management setting
• Knowledge of health & safety regulations related to school environments
• Ability to lead a team effectively while maintaining high standards of cleanliness
• Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with staff and school personnel effectively
