Overland Park, Olathe, Merriam, Shawnee, Lenexa, Spring Hill, Gardner, Westwood, Prairie Village, Leawood, Mission, Mission Woods
Hours: Monday–Friday, school days only (Before and After School Hours)
Pay: Johnson County School Crossing Guards earn $17.00 - $19.00 per hour, with many areas offering bonus time for each shift worked. Before and after school shifts are available. Pay rate and hours vary by location

About the Position

All City Management Services is hiring School Crossing Guards to help support student safety in Johnson County. Crossing Guards play an important role in helping children safely travel to and from school while serving as a positive presence in the community.

Responsibilities

• Safely assist students and pedestrians at designated crossings
• Monitor traffic flow and maintain safe crossing conditions
• Remain attentive and alert throughout assigned shifts
• Communicate professionally with students, parents, school staff, and drivers
• Follow all company safety procedures and training guidelines

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Reliable and punctual
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Able to stand for extended periods
• Strong communication and observation skills
• Candidates living near the assigned school area may be best positioned for timely arrival to scheduled shifts.
