School Lunchtime Supervisor - required every lunchtime

We are a one form entry Primary School educating children from age 3 - 11

We are seeking to appoint a lunchtime supervisor to work Monday to Friday for one and a half hours per day (from 11.45am until 1.15pm) whilst lunch is being served everyday during term time. To start as soon as possible.

We are looking for someone who:

· Enjoys working as part of a team

· Engages enthusiastically with pupils at lunchtime in a positive and caring manner

· Enjoys working with children

· Good communication skills

· Is creative, flexible and has a sense of humour

· Experience of supporting children in schools (desirable)

· Has an ability to maintain good relationships within the school and the wider community

· Manages pupils behaviour and reports any positive or negative issues to the class teacher

Key responsibilities include:

· Supervising and supporting pupils during the lunchtime period

· Engaging pupils in play at lunchtime in a positive, caring and enthusiastic manner

· Having the ability to work as part of a team

· Managing pupils’ behaviour

· Work as part of a team under the guidance of the Senior Lunchtime Supervisor
