School Midday Assistant

HAVANNAH PRIMARY SCHOOL – MIDDAY ASSISTANT

We are looking to appoint a member of staff to join our team of Midday Assistants in caring for our children over the lunchtime period at Havannah Primary School. The role includes assisting with setting up the lunchtime dining area, supervision of children during lunch time, arranging age appropriate activities in the classes during wet playtime and ensuring that the school's Behaviour Policy is applied effectively. We are looking for someone who is committed to the role, is honest, professional and reliable and has resilience, energy and enthusiasm. The candidate should have the ability to put their initiative and experience to good use. The successful candidate will enjoy working with children and as part of a team. The role is term time only, 38 weeks per year. The hours are 7.5 hours per week, Monday-Friday, 11.30am to 1pm.
