What they need
Who we are looking for:
We are looking for someone with experience working in education, either in a teaching capacity or in a support role, to join our growing and exciting business. We need someone who still has a passion for improving children's lives, but has made the decision to step away from working directly in schools.
Who we are:
We are a skilled group of ex-teachers, childcare professionals and experienced administrators, who love our jobs and are proud of the impact it has. Not only that, we’re a fun bunch(!) who enjoy a relaxed working environment with a great team spirit.
What we do:
As someone who has worked in education, you will be acutely aware of ever decreasing budgets. Whilst many schools focus on cutting costs, we offer an alternative solution – increasing income.
Our business helps schools improve their finances by enabling them to outsource all of the booking, payment and admin associated with the wraparound and nursery childcare. Once partnered with us, childcare admin workload on the school office is reduced to zero, and our team of administrators get to work on ensuring every session is paid for, and bookings are maximised.
To date, we have added over £2m to school budgets, and we are incredibly proud of the tangible impact we have made on thousands of children’s lives.
Your role:
Your role will be varied and engaging, with plenty of scope to develop and take ownership of your workload and tasks. In essence, you will support our current and future school partners. You’ll be responsible for building strong relationships with Heads, Business Managers and Office teams, supporting them from onboarding, through the launch of our service, and throughout their years as a client. You will meet with them regularly (online), be responsible for providing ongoing support, and, once trained, providing hugely valuable insight into how to most effectively set up and run their childcare provision.
It’s a varied and engaging role that suits someone with a deep knowledge of how schools work, and what makes the staff in them tick!
Key Responsibilities:
- Supporting schools through the onboarding process, ensuring all information, system requirements and key tasks are completed accurately and within agreed timescales.
- Throughout the launch period, being quick to respond to enquiries and problem solve, delivering and maintaining effective system training and acting as a key point of contact.
- Following launch, the role focuses on building strong, long-term relationships with schools, and (in particular) throughout their first year as a Childcare Bookings partner, providing regular updates on attendance, financial performance and responding to school feedback.
- Providing the other teams with your learnings and insight from your day-to-day contact with schools, informing and improving our service.
Your skillset – you will:
- Have great personal skills, and be able to build relationships with empathy, warmth and genuineness
- Have the ability to manage multiple projects, relationships and stakeholders at once
- Be someone who can work in a small team environment
- Possess strong administrative skills, including being comfortable with handling data
- Quickly identify issues and opportunities, solving them whenever possible in collaboration with colleagues
- Be someone who is willing to spend time learning our software, to better support schools
The other stuff
- The chance to work from home some of the time, and (if required) to fit your hours into the school day
- Some unique training and development based on our company’s core values
- The satisfaction of supporting schools and working on something that matters
- Some great staff parties!
