School Van Driver

Key Responsibilities:

• Transport students to and from school, including field trips or extracurricular activities if required.
• Maintain punctual pick-up and drop-off schedules.
• Ensure student safety during boarding, travel, and disembarkation.
• Perform daily vehicle safety checks and report any maintenance issues.
• Keep the van clean, well-maintained, and fueled.
• Communicate effectively with parents, school staff, and students.
• Ensure all passengers are seated and seat belts are fastened before driving.
• Follow designated routes and adapt to traffic or weather conditions as needed.
• Record attendance of students on board (if required by school).
• Report any incidents, accidents, or student misconduct to the school immediately.

Basic Requirements:

• Valid Driving License
• Class D (for standard van) or Class E (for larger van).
• PSV (Public Service Vehicle) license is required for transporting students commercially.
• Clean Driving Record
• No history of major traffic offenses or suspensions.
• Medical Fitness
• Good vision, hearing, and general health.
• A medical check-up may be required by the school or transport authority.
• Background Check
• No criminal record (especially involving children or violence).
• Clearance from the police or relevant authority (e.g., PDRM or JPN).

Pay: RM1,800.00 - RM2,500.00 per month
