Science Teachers (High School)

Duties and Responsibilities

- Work collaboratively with other teachers in the team to plan and deliver an effective instructional program aligned with well-defined curricular and school goals. - Other ad-hoc duties as assigned by Senior Leaders. - Participate in school events and activities as required.

Qualifications and Experience

- Bachelor Degree in Education, or Bachelor Degree in relevant major subject(s), preferably in Science, with a Postgraduate Diploma in Education or equivalent teaching credential with at least 10 weeks' practicum required - Teacher education/ training accepted by Alberta Education - Prior experience in teaching Science and/or relevant major subject(s) preferred - High level of English proficiency in spoken and written English required - Whilst not essential, please state any IB or AP teaching experience - Candidate embracing the values of Christian education preferred

Effective Date of Employment

The starting date for this appointment is mid-August 2027. Initial contract is normally 2 years in duration. Renewable 2-year contracts are offered subject to mutual agreement.
