Scientist (Chemist)

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Science majoring in Chemistry.
• 0–3 years of work experience in using scientific instruments.
• Experienced in Food Testing will be an advantage.
• Knowledge of LC-MS/MS or HPLC will be an advantage.
• Good attention to detail and good computer skills.
• Good interpersonal skills, positive attitude, and ability to work well with others.

Responsibilities:

• Perform testing according to established procedures, test methods, and work instructions.
• Participate in training activities and proficiency testing programs.
• Report testing issues and difficulties to the department supervisor and work together to resolve them.
• Record test results and maintain related testing documents.
• Regularly maintain and take care of laboratory equipment, instruments, glassware, workplace, and environmental conditions to ensure they are suitable for the assigned testing activities.
• Coordinate with the Sample Receiving, Reporting, and other relevant departments.
• Participate in the preparation and revision of testing procedures and results in accordance with the ISO/IEC 17025:2005 quality system.
• Perform other duties as assigned by the supervisor.
