Scientist II - LNP Formulation

Position Overview

We are seeking a Scientist I to support formulation development and characterization of lipid nanoparticle (LNP) systems for nucleic acid delivery. This role will execute formulation studies, analyze data, and support process optimization in a collaborative research environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Formulate and characterize lipid nanoparticles for nucleic acid delivery.
• Support formulation optimization, screening studies, and process development activities.
• Execute characterization assays and analyze experimental data.
• Maintain laboratory records and technical documentation.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support formulation requests and development objectives.
• Support laboratory operations, inventory management, and process improvement initiatives.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 5+ years or Master's degree with 2+ years of relevant industry experience in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Chemical Engineering, or a related field.
• 2+ years of hands-on experience with lipid nanoparticle formulation and nucleic acid encapsulation.
• Experience with LNP characterization techniques such as DLS, zeta potential, or related analytical methods.
• Strong data analysis, troubleshooting, and documentation skills.
• Proficiency with Excel and scientific data analysis software.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with targeted lipid nanoparticle systems or advanced delivery technologies.
• Experience with Design of Experiments (DoE), formulation optimization, or scale-up activities.
• Experience supporting nucleic acid, biologics, or drug delivery development programs.
