Tata Electronics Private Limited (TEPL) is a greenfield venture of the Tata Group with expertise in manufacturing precision components.

Tata Electronics (a wholly owned subsidiary of Tata Sons Pvt. Ltd.) is building India's first AI-enabled state-of-the-art Semiconductor Foundry. This facility will produce chips for applications such as power management IC, display drivers, microcontrollers (MCU) and high-performance computing logic, addressing the growing demand in markets such as automotive, computing and data storage, wireless communications and artificial intelligence.

Responsibilities

• Strategic Leadership:

• Define and implement supply chain strategy for semiconductor OSAT construction projects.

• Align construction supply chain operations with organizational expansion plans and technology roadmaps.

• Procurement Supplier Management:

• Develop and manage strategic partnerships with construction contractors, engineering firms, and material suppliers.

• Negotiate contracts for construction services, raw materials, and specialized infrastructure equipment.

• Ensure supplier compliance with safety, sustainability, and regulatory standards.

• Project Logistics Management:

• Oversee planning, sourcing, and delivery of construction materials and equipment across multiple geographies.

• Manage logistics, warehousing, and distribution to support large-scale OSAT construction timelines.

• Implement risk management frameworks to mitigate supply disruptions and project delays.

• Innovation Transformation:

• Drive adoption of advanced technologies in construction supply chain (digital twins, predictive analytics, BIM integration).

• Champion sustainability initiatives and green construction practices.

• Leadership Collaboration:

• Lead cross-functional teams across procurement, engineering, project management, and logistics.

• Collaborate with design, operations, and finance teams to ensure seamless execution of OSAT construction projects.

Essential Experience

• 15+ years of progressive experience in supply chain management, with at least 7 years in leadership roles.
• Proven track record in semiconductor OSAT construction or large-scale industrial construction projects.
• Expertise in global procurement, supplier negotiations, and construction project supply chain management.
• Experience in implementing advanced supply chain technologies (ERP, BIM, predictive analytics).
• Demonstrated success in managing multi-entity, cross-border construction supply chain operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Supply Chain, or related field.
• Master's degree (MBA or equivalent) preferred.
• Strong knowledge of semiconductor OSAT construction, global trade regulations, and compliance standards.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Ability to drive transformation initiatives and deliver measurable business impact.
