ScoliCare specializes in the assessment and non-surgical treatment of scoliosis and related spinal conditions. We provide individualized care to children, adolescents, and adults, helping patients improve function, build confidence, and navigate their treatment journey with support and guidance.

This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing practice, develop specialized expertise in scoliosis rehabilitation, and play an important role in building an exceptional patient experience. The successful candidate will contribute to a collaborative, patient-centered environment while helping establish the clinic’s clinical programs and day-to-day processes.

About the Role

The Exercise Physiologist / Rehabilitation Provider delivers ScoliCare’s ScoliBalance exercise rehabilitation program, which incorporates physiotherapeutic scoliosis-specific exercises (PSSE) and individualized rehabilitation procedures.

Working closely with the treating clinician, you will guide patients through personalized exercise sessions, teach effective techniques, support home exercise routines, and encourage patients throughout their rehabilitation journey.

Training in the ScoliBalance program will be provided, offering the opportunity to build specialized knowledge in a unique area of rehabilitation while contributing to a growing clinical team.

  • Build positive, trusting relationships with patients and families through empathy, encouragement, and clear communication.
  • Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential clinical documentation.
  • Collaborate with the clinical team to support coordinated care and an outstanding patient experience.
  • Participate in clinical meetings, continuing education, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Complete ScoliBalance theoretical and practical training and achieve program certification within six months of employment.
  • Participate in community education, presentations, and outreach activities as needed.
  • Take initiative in supporting clinic operations and improving processes as the practice grows.

  • Excellent organization, time management, and attention to detail.
  • A proactive, dependable, and solutions-oriented approach.
  • Ability to work collaboratively while taking ownership of responsibilities.
  • Commitment to patient confidentiality and professional standards.

Preferred

  • Approximately five or more years of relevant experience in exercise physiology, kinesiology, rehabilitation, or a related healthcare setting.
  • Experience working in a multidisciplinary clinical environment.
  • Familiarity with scoliosis, hyperkyphosis, postural conditions, or scoliosis-specific exercise rehabilitation.
  • Experience teaching, developing, or monitoring individualized exercise programs.
  • Strong patient education skills and the ability to build rapport with patients and families.

Experience with scoliosis-specific exercise methods is beneficial, but training in the ScoliBalance program will be provided.
