Scrap Forman

• Oversee daily operations of the scrap yard, ensuring efficient workflow and adherence to safety protocols.
• Manage and direct a team of scrap handlers, providing clear instructions and performance feedback.
• Inspect incoming and outgoing scrap materials for quality, contamination, and compliance with regulations.
• Operate heavy machinery such as excavators, forklifts, and cranes safely and proficiently.

Desired Candidate Profile

• High School Diploma or GED required; further vocational training is a plus.
• Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in a scrap yard or recycling facility.
• Proven experience operating heavy equipment relevant to scrap processing.
• Possession of valid heavy equipment operator certifications (e.g., forklift, crane).
