Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Screen Print Assistant to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will support the production of high-quality printed materials through various screen printing processes. Responsibilities

• Assist with preparing screens, inks, and substrates for printing, ensuring all materials meet project specifications.
• Operate and maintain screen printing machinery, including large-format printers and manual presses, following safety protocols.
• Support color management processes to achieve accurate color reproduction across different print runs.
• Interpret production documents and artwork files using prepress software and graphic design tools such as Adobe Creative Suite.
• Conduct quality control checks throughout the printing process to identify and correct issues related to registration, ink consistency, or print defects.
• Perform routine mechanical adjustments on industrial equipment like flexo presses or digital printers to optimize performance.
• Collaborate with the production team on layout design, typography, and print advertising elements to ensure alignment with client expectations.

Experience

• Prior experience in screen printing or related manufacturing environments is preferred but not required; training will be provided for the right candidate.
• Familiarity with graphic design software such as Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, or similar tools is highly desirable.
• Basic mechanical knowledge of industrial equipment operation and adjustment techniques is advantageous.
• Understanding of color management principles and print quality standards is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to interpret complex production documents accurately.
• Demonstrated ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting while maintaining high-quality standards.
• Enthusiasm for learning new techniques in digital printing, prepress processes, and layout design.

Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
