Position Summary

The Screen Printing Machine Operator is responsible for operating automatic and manual screen printing equipment to produce quality printed garments and products according to job specifications. This position is responsible for properly setting up jobs, monitoring print quality throughout production, and ensuring completed products meet company and customer standards.

The Screen Printing Machine Operator works closely with the Production Team and supervisors to complete orders accurately, efficiently, and within established production timelines.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Operate automatic and manual screen printing machines.
• Set up screens, inks, squeegees, and other materials needed for each print job.
• Review work orders and job specifications before beginning production.
• Ensure correct garments, ink colors, artwork, and print locations are used.
• Properly align and register screens before production begins.
• Perform test prints and verify print quality before running the full order.
• Monitor print quality throughout the production process.
• Make basic machine adjustments as needed to maintain consistent print quality.
• Load and unload garments or products during production.
• Identify printing defects and correct or report issues before continuing production.
• Maintain proper production speed while ensuring quality standards are met.
• Keep accurate counts of completed garments and report shortages or damaged items.
• Follow established procedures for handling inks, screens, garments, and equipment.
• Clean screens, tools, machines, and work areas after completing jobs.
• Perform basic daily cleaning and maintenance of screen printing equipment.
• Notify the supervisor of equipment problems, production issues, or job discrepancies.
• Follow all company safety procedures while operating equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area.
• Assist other production team members as needed.
• Complete assigned production jobs accurately and within established deadlines.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $12.00 - $15.00 per hour
