We're looking for a rare breed – a Screen Printer who combines craftsmanship, technical thinking and the drive to get things done.

At Litmus Mock-ups, screen printing is a little different. You'll be using the process to create high-end packaging prototypes and specialist production for some of the world's biggest brands.

At Litmus Mock-ups, we transform packaging concepts into physical reality.

We're specialists in packaging prototype development and creative production, helping leading FMCG brands bring new ideas to life before they reach the market.

We bridge the gap between digital design and the finished product, combining technology with hands-on craftsmanship to recreate the textures, finishes, colours and details of commercially produced packaging.

Our capabilities span digital and litho print, screen printing, specialist finishes, CAD, 3D printing and model making – often combining several processes to achieve a result.

WHAT MAKES THIS ROLE EXTRAORDINARY?

The Challenge: No two days are the same. One morning, you might be screen printing an intricate high-build varnish onto a luxury packaging prototype. The afternoon could see you trialling inks, mesh counts and techniques to recreate a commercial print effect on a challenging material.

Once we've cracked the process, the challenge can become turning that craftsmanship into a reliable, repeatable production process.

The Growth: You'll be exposed to materials, techniques and applications that go far beyond conventional screen-printing production, with opportunities to develop your skills along the way.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

· Produce precision screen-printed packaging prototypes and specialist production work

· Set up and register screens accurately across a wide variety of jobs

· Work with UV and solvent inks, varnishes and specialist finishes

· Select screens, mesh counts and print techniques for different applications

· Trial processes on unusual and challenging substrates

· Troubleshoot print, adhesion, curing and registration issues

· Turn successful trials into reliable, repeatable production processes

· Maintain quality from intricate one-offs through to production runs

· Collaborate with our Production and Studio teams to bring ambitious creative ideas to life

WHAT WE NEED

Screen-printing experience is preferred, and strong experience would be a real advantage – but the person matters just as much to us as the CV.

We're looking for someone with a practical understanding of screen printing, a good eye for detail and the confidence to tackle work that doesn't always come with a ready-made process.

You don't need to have done everything we do before. We can develop technical knowledge and teach the Litmus way of working.
