Screen Printer Trainee / Assistant

Ink Factory Clothing is offering an entry-level position with room for growth. We are willing to train. Work will include helping on the production floor wherever needed. Will be cross trained in multiple areas such as Screen Printing, Embroidery, Finisihing , Shipping & Receiving and other shop help. We are looking for someone who is a motivated self-starter, has a strong work ethic, enjoys working as part of a team, and can stay on-task for extended periods of time. This is a full-time position. Training is provided on site. To ensure success, you should have a keen sense for visual details, excellent communication skills, be able to work on your feet for long periods of time, and be comfortable lifting 50lbs.

Responsibilities;

• Picking orders (pulling unprinted garments from Inventory and stacking them on carts to go to the screen printing presses, etc.)
• Screen Printing Press (putting screens onto the printing press, applying ink to the screens, unloading garments from the press and placing them on a dryer belt, etc)
• Garment Finishing & Inspection (taking garments from dryer belt and applying stickers and/or hang tags, putting shirts on hangers if required then placing the finished garments on a cart - Picking completed orders for shipment, etc.)
• Screen production and reclaim
• Work with heat transfer machines
• Maintain garment count
• Complete quality assurance checks on completed products
• Basic computer data entry
• Comfortable working with computers
• Capable of lifting up to 50 pounds
• Great organization skills
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the printing area

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour
