Screen Printing Operator

We are looking for a dependable, detail-oriented Screen Printer / Press Operator to join our sign and screen-printing shop. The ideal candidate takes pride in producing quality printed apparel, works efficiently, and enjoys being part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate screen printing presses for apparel production.
• Review work orders and verify garment styles, sizes, colors, quantities, and print locations before starting each job.
• Register screens, prepare inks, and adjust press settings to achieve accurate placement and consistent prints.
• Load and unload garments carefully, checking print quality throughout each production run.
• Monitor flashing and curing according to shop procedures and ink requirements.
• Identify and troubleshoot printing problems, communicating issues promptly to keep jobs on schedule.
• Clean and maintain presses, screens, tools, and related equipment.
• Assist with screen preparation, reclaiming, counting, folding, and packing orders as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and follow shop safety procedures.

Qualifications

• Previous screen printing or press operation experience preferred. Experience with manual or automatic presses is a plus.
• Familiarity with screen registration, ink handling, garment printing, and curing.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow written work orders.
• Ability to work efficiently while maintaining quality and minimizing waste.
• Dependable attendance, good communication skills, and a willingness to help the team.
• Ability to perform hands-on production work, including standing for extended periods and handling garments, supplies, and boxes.
