Responsibilities

• Set up and operate two screw machines, ensuring optimal performance and quality parts.
• Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions and make necessary adjustments.
• Responsible for routine maintenance and cleaning to keep machines in great condition.
• Troubleshoot with team members to resolve production issues efficiently.
• Maintain records of production runs and machine settings for Quality assurance.
• Inspect finished products to ensure they meet their standards.
• All Team members follow Safety guidelines to maintain a safe working environment for everyone.

Qualifications

• Experience in operating multi-spindle screw machines, including New Britains, Euroturns, Acmes, and Davenports.
• Ability to change and grind form tools, drills, and cutoffs.
• Troubleshooting and resolving mechanical issues.
• Experience in using micrometers, calipers, and optical comparators to verify part specifications.
• Skilled experience in maintaining tool sharpness and making necessary adjustments for part conformity.
• Understand safety rules, machine instructions, and procedure manuals to ensure a safe workplace.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control techniques for part requirements for quality assurance purposes.
