Key Responsibilities

  • Support Agile and DevOps teams in applying Scrum principles and Agile ways of working
  • Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including Daily Stand-ups, Sprint Planning, Sprint Reviews, Retrospectives, and Backlog Refinement sessions
  • Help foster collaboration, transparency, and continuous improvement within Scrum teams
  • Assist in identifying and removing impediments that affect team delivery
  • Work closely with Product Owners, developers, and stakeholders to support successful Sprint outcomes
  • Encourage Agile best practices and contribute to improving team maturity
  • Monitor team progress and help identify opportunities for process improvements
  • Support communication between technical teams and business stakeholders
  • Learn from and collaborate with senior Scrum Masters and Agile Coaches where applicable
  • Contribute to Agile initiatives across the organization

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience as a Scrum Master or in a similar Agile role (e.g. Agile Project Coordinator, Agile Delivery Coordinator, Junior Scrum Master)
  • Professional Scrum Master (PSM I) certification or equivalent is preferred
  • Good understanding of Agile methodologies and Scrum principles
  • Experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies in an Agile environment
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Eager to coach teams and support continuous improvement
  • Proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and develop
  • Experience working in a technical or IT environment is an advantage
  • Experience working within government or public sector environments is a plus
  • Fluent Dutch and English language skills
  • Must be eligible to work in the Netherlands and able to pass government-related security screening requirements

What We Offer

  • A competitive salary and an attractive bonus system
  • An informal work environment with results-oriented colleagues and a dedicated manager
  • A mobility budget
  • Flexible working arrangements, including hybrid working and flexible schedules
  • The opportunity to work on complex projects for prestigious government and enterprise clients
  • Excellent national and international career opportunities
  • Extensive training and development programs, including Agile and SAFe certifications
  • Clear growth paths toward Senior Scrum Master, Release Train Engineer (RTE), HR Coach, or leadership positions
