What they need

You will join the team as a Senior Scrum Master, responsible for guiding and enabling multiple Agile teams at bswift. This role is responsible for driving delivery excellence, strengthening Agile practices, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement across cross-functional product teams including teams that increasingly blend human engineering with AI-assisted development.

You'll work closely with engineering, product, and cross-functional teams to deliver reliable, secure, and scalable enterprise software that enables seamless user experiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach multiple Scrum teams for predictable, high-quality, end-to-end delivery.
  • Facilitate Agile ceremonies and uphold Scrum principles, bswift standards, and delivery discipline. Collaborate with Product Owners on backlog refinement, sprint readiness, and business alignment. Coordinate cross-team dependencies, risks, and release planning with transparent stakeholder communication.
  • Drive continuous improvement using metrics, retrospectives, and best practices. Mentor team members and junior Scrum Masters, building a self-organizing, high-performance culture. Ensure quality standards, accurate Agile tracking, and delivery per definition of done.
  • Ensure alignment with bswift's governance, data-privacy, security, and compliance standards; escalate risks appropriately.
  • Support PI Planning, capacity planning, governance, and process optimization. Prior hands-on SDLC experience (as QA, BA, or Dev) to go beyond running ceremonies reviewing and reinforcing definition of done, shaping scoping and acceptance criteria, strengthening dependency management, supporting UAT, and catching gaps early. Leverage automation and AI tools to streamline sprint reporting, dependency tracking, and retrospective insights — freeing up time for high-value coaching.

Knowledge, Education, and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field (or equivalent experience). CSM, PSM, SAFe Scrum Master, PMI-ACP, or equivalent Agile certification preferred
  • Experience: 4+ years of hands-on experience as a Scrum Master supporting software development teams.
  • Proven success leading multiple Agile teams in a complex, scaled environment.
  • Strong grounding in backlog management, sprint planning, release coordination, and cross-team delivery, including managing dependencies, risks, and stakeholder communication across distributed teams.
  • Experience with Agile transformation, continuous improvement, and delivery governance.
  • Prior hands-on delivery experience as QA, BA, or Developer — bringing practical SDLC understanding and credibility with engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with DevOps workflows and modern engineering practices, including teams using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., GitHub Copilot, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar).
  • Experience in enterprise SaaS, healthcare, HR tech, or benefits administration domains (preferred)

Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong knowledge of Agile frameworks (Scrum, Kanban, SAFe) and practical application in real-world teams.
  • Strong skills in facilitation, conflict resolution, coaching, servant leadership, and change management.
  • Hands-on expertise with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Confluence, or similar, along with AI-powered productivity tools for meeting summarization, reporting, and documentation.
  • Understanding of product lifecycles, SDLC, project management fundamentals, and quality standards.
  • Ability to interpret and use delivery metrics to guide decisions and improvements, including metrics suited to AI-augmented teams such as flow efficiency, review throughput, and rework rate.
  • Awareness of responsible-AI principles including data privacy, security, and human-in-the-loop accountability.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills with the ability to influence across teams.
