Scrum Master

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile delivery across cross-functional teams within a Cybersecurity, Systems, and Resilience organization.

This role requires a strong facilitator who can coach teams, remove impediments, and drive continuous improvement while bringing the technical fluency and analytical skills needed to work effectively with engineering, analytics, product, and business stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have strong Excel analytical skills, Power BI expertise, coding knowledge, and practical experience using AI tools to improve productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

Agile Delivery & Team Coaching

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and sprint reviews.
• Coach teams on Scrum practices, Agile principles, self-organization, and continuous improvement.
• Partner with Product Owners on backlog refinement, prioritization, and delivery planning.
• Identify, track, and help remove impediments affecting team performance or delivery.
• Promote transparency, accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
• Support Agile transformation efforts through training, coaching, and practical guidance.

Analytics, AI & Technical Support

• Use Excel to analyze delivery data, metrics, trends, and operational performance.
• Build and maintain Power BI dashboards, reports, and delivery metrics.
• Leverage AI tools and platforms to improve team efficiency, automate routine tasks, and enhance analysis and communication.
• Apply coding or scripting skills where useful to support automation, analysis, visualization, or technical understanding.
• Collaborate with technical teams on implementation considerations, dependencies, and delivery risks.

Stakeholder Communication

• Provide regular status reporting, delivery metrics, and actionable insights to stakeholders.
• Help bridge communication between business, product, engineering, and technical teams.
• Build strong relationships across teams and influence outcomes without direct authority.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, Product Owner, or similar role in a software development environment.
• Strong understanding of Agile principles and practices including Scrum, Kanban, and Lean.
• Strong Excel analytical skills with experience using data and metrics to support decision-making.
• Practical experience using AI tools across platforms to improve productivity, workflows, and analysis.
• Strong proficiency in Power BI, including dashboard creation, reporting, and data visualization.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Ability to build relationships, foster teamwork, and influence without authority.
• Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, and other project management platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• Coding or scripting skills in one or more programming languages or environments.
• Scrum Master certification such as CSM or PSM.
• Experience supporting cybersecurity, software engineering, or technology delivery teams.
• Additional Agile-related certifications.
