Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile delivery teams within a large enterprise environment. This individual will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing roadblocks, improving team effectiveness, and ensuring work is effectively planned, tracked, and delivered.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience working with Agile/Scrum teams, excellent communication and facilitation skills, and extensive experience using Jira to manage backlogs, sprints, dependencies, risks, and overall delivery.

Candidates must be local to either Buffalo, NY or Wilmington, DE.

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as Scrum Master for one or more Agile delivery teams.
• Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Partner closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, technology teams, and business stakeholders.
• Help teams plan and execute work within established sprint and Program Increment (PI) timelines.
• Track deliverables, dependencies, risks, issues, and impediments and drive them through resolution.
• Use Jira to manage sprint activities, backlog items, stories, dependencies, and team progress.
• Help ensure user stories are clearly defined, prioritized, and ready for development.
• Monitor team capacity, velocity, sprint commitments, and delivery progress.
• Identify blockers and coordinate across teams to resolve cross-functional dependencies.
• Coach team members on Agile/Scrum principles and help drive continuous improvement.
• Facilitate communication between technical teams, business partners, and leadership.
• Support Agile planning and reporting at both the team and program level.

Required Qualifications

• Strong experience working as a Scrum Master in an Agile environment.
• Hands-on experience facilitating Scrum ceremonies and supporting Agile delivery teams.
• Strong working knowledge of Jira, including backlog, sprint, story, dependency, and issue tracking.
• Experience working with Product Owners, developers, QA/testing teams, Business Analysts, and other technology stakeholders.
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies, sprint planning, backlog management, and continuous improvement.
• Experience identifying and removing delivery impediments.
• Strong organizational, communication, leadership, and facilitation skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and coordinate across several teams or workstreams.
• Experience working within a large, complex enterprise environment.
