Scrum Master

This is an onsite W2 contract role in Cincinnati, OH with strong long-term potential and the possibility of converting to full-time employment. Retail industry experience is highly preferred.

Summary: We are seeking an experienced Scrum Master to support Agile technology teams within a large, complex enterprise environment. This role will lead Scrum and/or Kanban teams, facilitate Agile ceremonies, remove impediments, manage dependencies, and help teams improve delivery and performance.

Required Skills

• Local to Cincinnati, OH and able to work on a W2 basis.
• 5+ years of experience working as a Scrum Master.
• Retail industry experience highly preferred.
• Strong hands-on experience leading Agile teams and facilitating Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Strong knowledge of Scrum, Kanban, and Agile principles and practices.
• Experience coaching Agile teams to improve performance, accountability, self-management, and overall Agile maturity.
• Experience identifying and removing impediments and managing cross-team dependencies, risks, and competing priorities.
• Experience partnering with Engineering, Product, QA, PMO, and business stakeholders within a large enterprise environment.
• Experience using Jira or a comparable Agile work-management platform.
• Experience supporting cloud transformation or technology initiatives across Security, Data, and/or Networking is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coach one or more Scrum and/or Kanban teams.
• Facilitate sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, retrospectives, and other Agile ceremonies.
• Identify and remove impediments that impact team productivity or delivery.
• Coach teams on Agile best practices and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage cross-team dependencies, risks, and delivery challenges.
• Use team metrics and delivery data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
• Partner with Engineering, Product, QA, PMO, and business stakeholders to support successful delivery.
• Support backlog management, story tracking, estimation, prioritization, and delivery reporting in Jira.
• Promote collaboration, accountability, transparency, and team ownership.
• Maintain alignment across technology teams, business stakeholders, PMO, and leadership.
