As a Scrum Master you will be responsible for facilitating Agile ceremonies, removing impediments, coaching teams on Scrum principles, and fostering collaboration to ensure continuous improvement and successful project delivery.

Requirements

• 3 to 5 years of experience in a software environment, ideally as part of an Agile/Scrum team.
• Solid understanding of the Scrum framework: roles, events, and artifacts
• Scrum certification (PSM I or CSM) is a plus
• Familiarity with Agile tools such as Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar
• Basic understanding of the software development lifecycle; exposure to data or analytics products is a plus
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Eager to learn and open to coaching and feedback
• Good interpersonal, communication, and facilitation skills
• Proactive communication with technical and non-technical team members
• Proficient English (written and verbal)

Job Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum events (Daily Standup, Sprint Planning, Sprint Review, and Retrospective) with guidance from the Senior Scrum Master.
• Keep the team’s board and backlog organized and up to date in the Agile tool.
• Track sprint progress and maintain basic team metrics such as burndown charts and velocity.
• Identify and log impediments, follow up on resolution, and escalate to the Senior Scrum Master when needed.
• Support the Product Owner with backlog hygiene, ensuring stories are clearly formatted and include acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate team meetings and document decisions and action items.
• Promote Scrum values and continuous improvement within the team.
• Grow Scrum and facilitation skills through ongoing coaching from the Senior Scrum Master.
