Job Description

Technowand is an Australian Managed IT Services Provider delivering IT support, cybersecurity, cloud, AI automation, and custom software solutions. We are looking for a proactive Scrum Master Associate to coordinate cross-functional teams, manage project requirements, and ensure timely delivery.

Roles & Responsibilities

• Facilitate Scrum ceremonies, including daily stand-ups and sprint planning.
• Gather, analyse, clarify, and document client and internal stakeholder requirements.
• Convert requirements into user stories, acceptance criteria, and actionable tasks.
• Collaborate with Product Owners on backlog prioritisation, refinement, and sprint planning.
• Track project progress, sprint deliverables, milestones, and deadlines.
• Identify blockers, coordinate resolutions, and follow up on pending tasks.
• Manage project tasks, issues, and documentation using Jira.
• Coordinate with development and QA teams on requirements, test cases, and deliverable quality.
• Communicate project updates, risks, and requirement changes to stakeholders.

Skills Required

• Understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and project coordination.
• Experience in requirement gathering, analysis, and documentation.
• Knowledge of user story creation, acceptance criteria, and backlog management.
• Proficiency in Jira and project tracking.
• Strong English communication and stakeholder coordination skills.
• Good organisational, problem-solving, and prioritisation skills.
• Ability to work independently, take initiative, and meet deadlines.

Qualifications & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Scrum, Agile project coordination, or a related role.
• Experience in requirement gathering and user story creation is preferred.
• Bachelor's or master's degree preferred.
• Experience coordinating cross-functional teams is an advantage.
