MaibornWolff GmbH

Are you passionate about agile delivery and want to actively shape the evolving role of the Scrum Master in the AI era? And are you interested in diverse projects within a collaborative working environment? Then take a closer look at MaibornWolff!
We at MaibornWolff are an owner-managed, medium-sized IT consulting firm with over 30 years of expertise. With around 800 tech-enthusiastic people, we advise our clients on their digitalization strategies and develop modern, customized software solutions. In 2024, we joined the Lünendonk list of "leading medium-sized IT consultancies in Germany," which we are very proud of.
In our Delivery Enabler guild, eleven Scrum Masters, Agile Coaches, and Delivery Enablers are currently working across several locations in Germany. Our mission: to establish Delivery Enablement as a strong, future-proof role and to effectively support project teams during the AI transformation. We share knowledge, continue to shape our role together, and contribute diverse strengths. Our projects range from individual development teams to international programs in industries such as automotive, energy, and the public sector.
This is where you come in: As a Delivery Enabler, you will take responsibility for a role in transition, lead interdisciplinary teams through AI-driven change, and make a key contribution to developing Delivery Enablement into a strong, future-ready function.
Your Responsibilities

Empower teams: You work closely with your development teams: you remove impediments, continuously refine constructive ways of working, and foster effective team structures.

Manage stakeholders: You actively bring together the different interests of the team, client, and MaibornWolff, ensuring a clear, efficient flow of decisions and communication.

Ensure delivery: Using concrete metrics, you make the impact and value contribution of your role visible. You establish a shared understanding of goals and expectations, remove obstacles, and address potential risks early on.

Integrate AI agents: You enable your team to optimally integrate AI agents and tools, keeping an eye on the resulting process and communication shifts. You confidently guide teams and clients through AI-driven change processes.

Shape the practice: Together with your Delivery Enabler guild, you further develop our role profile, share your knowledge, and drive relevant topics forward. If you wish, you can also get involved as a mentor in employee development or take on other internal responsibilities.

Your Profile

Education: Ideally, you hold a degree in business or IT — however, what matters most to us is your practical project experience.

Practical experience: You bring at least 3–5 years of relevant project experience as a Scrum Master, Agile Coach, or in a comparable role within software development. You are familiar with working at the team level as well as coordinating across multiple teams, ideally complemented by experience in intercultural contexts.

Methodological expertise: You are proficient in agile frameworks such as Scrum or Kanban and, ideally, scaling frameworks like SAFe, Nexus, or LeSS. In addition, you are strong in stakeholder management, facilitation & workshop design, as well as agile metrics and forecasting. Perhaps you even have experience with OKRs, Flight Levels, or Value Stream Mapping.

Tools: You use AI applications routinely and purposefully to enhance your own work efficiency. Furthermore, through your project work, you have gained a clear understanding of the impact and potential pitfalls of AI in software development.

Willingness to travel: You are willing to travel up to two days per week as needed — for workshops, team events, or direct face-to-face interaction with the team and clients on-site.

Language skills: You speak fluent German and very good English.
