Scrum Master Intern

Tech Pipeline fixes the broken internal systems that stall productivity and frustrate teams. We ignore high level theories and instead focus on fixing the routing logic, broken queues, and manual spreadsheets that slow down a company.

The role Our partner is a major investment firm currently dealing with a series of stalled system migrations and internal bottlenecks. You will join our remote team as a Scrum Master Intern to help organize these efforts, ensuring that our technical practitioners can focus on fixing the data without getting stuck in coordination traps. This role exists to facilitate clear communication and remove the small, daily frictions that prevent a project from reaching the finish line.

What you will do

• Organize and facilitate daily syncs for our remote engineering and operations teams to identify blockers.
• Track the status of specific tasks to ensure no ticket is left sitting in an unassigned queue for too long.
• Update project documentation and internal wikis to reflect changes in how we are routing data for the client.
• Write brief, factual status updates that inform the team of progress without requiring a meeting.
• Maintain the project board, making sure that priorities are clear and that dead tasks are removed.
• Help the team identify repetitive issues in the workflow that could be solved with better process logic.
• Monitor the flow of work to ensure we are meeting the milestones set for the investment firm migration.
• Gather notes from technical sessions and turn them into clear, actionable steps for the next day.

What we are looking for

• A logical mind that enjoys figuring out how different parts of a business process fit together.
• Excellent written communication skills, especially the ability to explain technical progress in plain English.
• Basic familiarity with project coordination tools like Jira, Trello, or Notion, even from personal or school projects.
• A strong sense of organization and the ability to keep track of multiple moving parts at once.
• Curiosity about the unglamorous side of business, like how data moves between finance and operations.
• A disciplined approach to work that allows you to remain productive in a fully remote environment.
• Comfort with asking questions when a process seems overly complicated or unnecessary.
• Willingness to learn the specific mechanics of scrum and agile without getting caught up in the jargon.
