SDR Manager

The Opportunity

Our client, a large, multi-divisional enterprise software company and part of a global IT services and technology group, is hiring an SDR Manager to build a brand-new outbound function in its Boston office. This is a true ground-up build: there’s no existing outbound motion to inherit, so the mandate is to design the playbook, hire the team, and prove out pipeline generation from scratch.

What You’ll Own

• Building the outbound SDR function from the ground up — process, messaging, tooling, and team
• Hiring, onboarding, and coaching the first cohort of SDRs
• Designing prospecting playbooks and sequencing strategy for a new market motion
• Setting and owning early pipeline generation targets, with the flexibility to iterate as the function matures
• Partnering closely with sales and marketing leadership to align the new function with broader revenue goals

What We’re Looking For

• Proven experience building an outbound SDR function from scratch, not just managing an existing one
• A track record of hiring, onboarding, and ramping SDRs quickly
• Comfort operating without established process — this is a build role, not a maintain role
• Experience in enterprise B2B software, ideally at a large or complex organisation
• Strong coaching ability and hands-on process design skills
