SDS / General Surgery / Anesthesia - Coder - Paix Services

We are hiring experienced in SDS / General Surgery and Anesthesia coding. Candidates with strong auditing experience in surgical coding domains are preferred.

• Candidates for SDS / General Surgery / Anesthesia must have experience across all surgery series (1 - 6)

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform coding for SDS, General Surgery, and Anesthesia specialties.
• Assign accurate ICD-10-CM, CPT, HCPCS, and Modifier codes.
• Review operative reports and physician documentation.
• Ensure compliance with AAPC, AHIMA, CMS, and payer guidelines.
• Maintain coding accuracy, productivity, and TAT.
• Support denial prevention and coding quality initiatives

Required Skills:

• 4 - 8 years of experience in SDS / General Surgery / Anesthesia Coding.
• Strong knowledge of CPT, ICD-10-CM, HCPCS, and Modifiers.
• CPC, CCS, COC, or equivalent certification preferred.
• Experience in US Healthcare Medical Coding.
