Sea Export Pricing - Executive

Key Responsibilities

• Calculate Sea Export Freight Rates and prepare customer quotations.
• Obtain, check, and compare rates from shipping lines, co-loaders, and vendors.
• Negotiate with vendors to secure competitive freight rates.
• Calculate applicable ocean freight, origin charges, documentation charges, and surcharges.
• Handle customer RFQs and pricing requests and ensure timely quotations.
• Check costing and profit margins before sharing quotations.
• Prepare quotations for applicable Incoterms, including DAP and DDP.
• Maintain and update freight rate sheets and pricing records.
• Coordinate with Sales, Operations, and overseas agents for pricing requirements.
• Follow up on quotations and provide timely responses.
• Monitor market freight rates and maintain updated pricing information.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• 1–3 years of experience in Sea Export Pricing / Freight Forwarding.
• Good understanding of sea export freight rates and pricing structures.
• Knowledge of shipping lines, co-loaders, vendors, and freight surcharges.
• Understanding of Incoterms, particularly DAP and DDP.
• Knowledge of cost calculation and profit margin management.
• Good working knowledge of MS Excel.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and coordination skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to meet quotation deadlines.
