Sea Freight Pricing Manager

Main Responsibilities/Tasks:

·         Negotiate competitive FCL/LCL rates and commercial terms with shipping lines and NVOCCs.

·         Develop and maintain pricing strategies and tariff structures to drive competitiveness and profitability.

·         Lead pricing for regional and global RFQs/tenders and support strategic customer opportunities.

·         Build and maintain strong relationships with key ocean carriers and service providers.

·         Monitor freight rates, capacity, bunker adjustments, blank sailings, port congestion, and other market developments.

·         Provide market intelligence and pricing recommendations to Sales and management.

·         Work closely with Sales and Operations to ensure commercially attractive and operationally viable solutions.

·         Other adhoc tasks as assigned

Qualifications:

·         Degree/diploma in Logistics, Shipping, Supply Chain, Business Administration, or a related discipline preferred.

·         Min. of 10 years’ experience in freight forwarding, logistics, or shipping, including at least 3–5 years in ocean freight pricing/procurement.

·         Solid experience with an international freight forwarder is highly preferred.

·         Strong knowledge of FCL/LCL, ocean trade lanes, surcharges, carrier practices, and Incoterms.

·         Proven experience in carrier negotiation, rate procurement, and RFQ/tender pricing.

·         Strong commercial and analytical mindset with advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

·         Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.

·         Fluent in English, Cantonese, and Mandarin, both written and spoken.
