What they need

What we're looking for

  • Must possess at least Technical-Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate in Engineering or equivalent.

  • With at least 2 years working experience as a seamer mechanic / maintenance technician in a food manufacturing set-up. Experience in canning line manufacturing is an advantage.

  • Familiarity with machine lubrication, alignment, and equipment adjustments.

  • Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, equipment manuals, and technical documents.

  • Willing to work on shifting schedules.

What you'll be doing

  • Carry out repairs, adjustment, replacement and improvements/modifications of filler/seamer as directed by the Engineering Supervisor.
  • Perform effective preventive maintenance, breakdown maintenance and troubleshooting of machineries and equipment.
  • Conduct routine lubrication needs of the machine.
  • Analyze seamer machine performance and coordinate corrective action with the Supervisor.
