Seamstress

We are seeking an experienced Seamstress to join our team on a temporary basis to assist with bridal market preparations. This is a hands-on role working on wedding dress samples, requiring precision, speed, and a strong background in bridal or evening wear.

Position Details:

• Dates: October 13 – October 15, 2026
• Schedule: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM, Tuesday–Thursday
• Compensation: Hourly (rate based on experience)
• Location: Hoboken, NJ

Key Responsibilities:

• Altering bridal samples (taking in/letting out sizes, hemming, refinishing edges)
• Sewing on industrial and/ or home machines
• Handwork including lace tacking, beadwork, and button application
• Constructing small design elements such as bows and accessories
• Steaming and preparing gowns for presentation

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in bridal or evening wear sewing and alterations (required)
• Skilled in both machine and hand sewing techniques
• Strong attention to detail with an eye for fit and finish
• Ability to work efficiently to meet tight deadlines
