Seamstress

Job Overview
Grand Frame Inc is a 52 year family owned business and we are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for garment construction and a strong understanding of sewing techniques. This role involves sewing and mouting sports jerseys, golf flags and other sports items to be displayed in Custom Picture Frames. The Seamstress will work closely with our production and sales team to ensure the clients needs are met while maintaining high-quality standards.

Duties

• Hand Sew sports jerseys, golf flags, and other items to be displayed in custom frames.
• work closely with production and sales team to meet customer requests.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their needs.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are properly stored.
• Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and quality standards.
• Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to garment construction.

Skills

• Proficiency and understanding various sewing techniques.
• Strong skills in garment construction, including cutting, fitting, and finishing garments.
• Excellent customer service skills to interact positively with clients.
• Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
• Experience in fashion retail is a plus, enhancing the ability to understand client preferences.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour

Expected hours: 15.0 – 20.0 per week
