Seamstress – Mattress Manufacturing

Location: Cape Town, Western Cape
Job Type: Full-Time

We are looking for an experienced Seamstress to join a busy mattress manufacturing factory in Cape Town.

Key Responsibilities:

• Sew and stitch mattress covers, panels and fabric components.
• Operate industrial sewing machines.
• Work with various fabrics, foam and mattress materials.
• Ensure accurate measurements, stitching and finishing.
• Maintain high-quality workmanship and meet daily production targets.
• Follow factory safety and quality standards.

Requirements:

• Previous sewing experience in a mattress manufacturing or upholstery environment.
• Experience operating industrial sewing machines.
• Knowledge of mattress stitching, overlocking and tape edging will be advantageous.
• Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced production environment.
• Good attention to detail.
• Reliable, hardworking and able to work as part of a team.
