Seamstress / Stitcher – Full Time

We are looking for an experienced and reliable Seamstress / Stitcher to join our team in Belfast.

This is a full-time, hands-on role suited to someone who is confident using sewing machines, has excellent attention to detail and takes pride in producing consistently high-quality finished products.

You will work as part of a small, friendly team manufacturing and finishing a range of specialist products. Full training on our specific products and manufacturing processes will be provided.

The Role

Your main responsibilities will include:

• Operating sewing machines

• Sewing a variety of fabrics and materials

• Following patterns, templates and production instructions

• Fitting components such as Velcro, webbing, binding, buckles and other fastenings where required

• Carrying out finishing work to a high standard

• Checking completed products for quality and accuracy

• Identifying and correcting stitching or manufacturing faults

• Working to production schedules while maintaining quality

• Keeping your workstation and equipment clean, organised and safe

• Working closely with other members of the production team

About You

We would particularly like to hear from applicants who have previous experience as a:

• Seamstress

• Sewing Machinist

• Sewing Machine Operator

• Garment or textile machinist

• Production sewing operative

You should be:

• Confident using sewing machines

• Able to sew accurately and consistently

• Comfortable working with different types and thicknesses of material

• Able to follow measurements and instructions carefully

• Quality focused with strong attention to detail

• Reliable and punctual

• Able to work independently as well as part of a team
