Seamstress Tailor

Brian's One Day Dry Cleaners is seeking a local seamstress/tailor with experience in clothing repair to join our team. Job Summary and Required Skills: Completion of repairs and alterations to include hemming; shortening and lengthening; replacing zippers, buttons, snaps and clasps; removal/addition of patches; repairing holes and tears; tapering; letting out or taking in and other repairs and alterations as requested by customers; fittings with customers; operation of sewing equipment (both machines and manual tools) and some hand pressing; examination of repairs as they come in to assess if they can be completed in house.

Schedule/Hours: Store hours are Monday through Friday 9 am to 5 pm. We can be flexible based on your availability in terms of hours per week or days of the week you work.

Job Type: Part-time to Full-time position available.

Pay Rate: $20 - $25 per hour (Starting rate depends on experience; open to discussion for exceptional skills).

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
