Seamstress / Tailor

Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Seamstress / Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience in sewing, tailoring, and garment alteration, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship and attention to detail. This role involves creating, repairing, and customizing clothing items to meet customer specifications and standards.

Responsibilities:

• Measure clients accurately and interpret their tailoring requests.
• Cut fabric and assemble garments according to patterns and specifications.
• Sew and assemble clothing items with precision, ensuring durability and quality.
• Alter and repair garments to improve fit or restore damaged items.
• Select appropriate fabrics, threads, and other materials for each project.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
• Communicate effectively with clients regarding their needs and progress.

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a seamstress or tailor.
• Strong sewing skills with knowledge of various stitching techniques.
• Excellent attention to detail and manual dexterity.
• Good communication skills and customer service orientation.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects efficiently.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $30.00 per hour
