We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Seamstress Tailor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for fashion and a strong background in garment construction, be able to create custom fittings and alterations. Proficiency in using a sewing machine and basic math skills are essential for success in this position.

Responsibilities

• Perform alterations and repairs on various types of garments, ensuring high-quality craftsmanship.
• Work with the team to understand the specific needs and preferences, providing expert advice on style and fit.
• Utilize sewing machines and hand-sewing techniques to execute the job accurately.
• Maintain an organized workspace, ensuring all tools and materials are readily available.
• Conduct fittings, making adjustments as necessary to achieve the desired look and fit.
• Keep up-to-date with fashion trends and techniques to enhance skills and service offerings.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in fashion retail or tailoring is preferred.
• Strong understanding of garment construction and sewing techniques.
• Proficiency in operating sewing machines and related equipment.
• Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with the team.
• Basic math skills for measurements and calculations related to garment alterations.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality work.
