Role Description The Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) Analyst is a full-time, on-site role based in Chennai. The SEO Analyst will be responsible for conducting keyword research, analyzing website performance, and implementing on-page SEO strategies to improve search rankings and organic traffic. Daily tasks include optimising content and metadata, monitoring and reporting on web analytics, and identifying opportunities to enhance user experience and conversion rates. The role also involves planning and executing ethical link-building initiatives, collaborating with marketing and development teams, and staying current with search engine algorithms and industry best practices. The SEO Analyst will support multiple client projects and contribute to overall digital strategy and performance.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong skills in Keyword Research and On-Page SEO to optimise website content and structure.
• Candidates should possess experience in Link Building and off-page SEO techniques to improve domain authority and search visibility.
• Candidates should possess proficiency in Web Analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, Google Search Console) to track, interpret, and report performance metrics.
• Candidates should possess foundational Marketing knowledge to align SEO initiatives with broader digital and business goals.
• Relevant skills such as familiarity with SEO tools (e.g., SEMrush, Ahrefs, Screaming Frog), basic HTML/CSS understanding, and experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress) are beneficial.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, with the ability to present insights and recommendations clearly.
• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Computer Science, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Prior experience in an SEO or digital marketing role, preferably within an IT or digital services environment, is an advantage.
